• My wedding is in less than 3 months do you have dresses in stock?

Yes we do have a gowns available off the rack

• Is your showroom open?

Our showroom is open on Sundays 9am to 3pm

• What is the price range of your gowns?

Our bridesmaid gowns are priced from $285, and our bridal wear from $450

• Do you make custom dresses?

No we do not make custom gowns or provide alterations 

• What sizes are available?

Bridal Gowns are available in sizes 2-30*

Bridesmaid and Mother of Gowns are available in sizes 0-30*

*note not all gowns are available in store in every size and sizes are brand dependent

• Do I need shoes?

Only if you have a special pair already chosen, shoes are not essential in the shopping phase

• What is the timeline for ordering a gown?

Currently our gowns take approximately 12+ weeks from date of order to arrive in store. Please note with current Aus Post hold ups the lead time on receiving your gowns can change at very short notice. We will keep you as informed as possible on the progress of your order

• What is the address for House of Gowns showroom?

We are in Croydon South in Melbourne’s Eastern Suburbs

• Terms of sale for “off the rack” gowns and “sale” gowns

-       Payment required in full at time of purchase

-       Lay by or instore payment plans not available

-       Gowns must be collected at time of purchase, storage for gowns is not available  

-       Gowns are not eligible for exchange or store credit

-       Gowns are sold as is and we strongly recommend close inspection of the gown prior to purchase as all sales are final regardless of faults later discovered that were present at time of purchase
